This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager while working closely with the broader Finance team and operational teams. K18 is a fully remote, fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities for growth.ResponsibilitiesAccount for transactions under US GAAP on a timely basis and in adherence to close calendarPrepare monthly journal entriesPerform monthly balance sheet account reconciliationsReconcile bank statements and resolve discrepanciesAssist with preparing financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flowsPartner with Finance in analyzing close results compared to budget/forecastExecute internal controls to ensure transactions and balances are accurately reportedIdentify and implement process improvement initiatives to build efficiencies into existing processesSupport external annual financial audit, tax preparation and insurance renewal activities by providing timely and accurate support schedules as requestedCultivate strong partnerships with Finance and cross-functional teamsParticipate and collaborate on Company and department driven initiatives, including special projectsConduct ad-hoc analysis and tasks as requestedSkills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in NetSuite (or other ERP) Development, Consultancy, or Engineering is required.Certifications: Preferred certifications in one or more of the following:NetSuite Administrator CertificationNetSuite ERP Consultant CertificationSuiteCloud Developer II CertificationOracle Database PL/SQL Developer Certified ProfessionalCertified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®)Oracle Database Administrator Certified MasterTechnical Skills: Coding in SuiteScript or JavaScript/TypeScript is highly desired; Python or PHP coding is a plus.Preferred Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA designation or path to obtaining CPA preferred1-2 years of accounting experience, including experience at a public accounting firmMicrosoft Suites skills are essential, including strong/exceptional Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables and v-lookup) and comfort with Word and PowerPointStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively across the organizationStrong attention to detail and accuracyInquisitive and eager to learnAble to identify issues and make recommendations for solutionsExperience in manufacturing and/or beauty industry a plusSalary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 USDThis range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
